When high-resolution bathymetry is not enough to fully characterize a site, SeaVision can draw upon several other techniques in order to support our clients' requirements. Perhaps a project requires sidescan sonar in order to identify hazards to navigation. Maybe sub-bottom profiling is necessary to locate a buried pipeline, or a magnetometer survey is required to find a submerged cable crossing. Scanning sonars may be used in order to characterize the face of a bridge footing. These techniques are all within our repertoire, and we can can provide the survey results in geographically referenced, scaled formats that can be used in the design or construction phase of any project.
Our projects often find us using unique approaches with industry standard tools to get the job done. These underwater investigation techniques that we provide are:
These survey techniques may be delivered as stand-alone services or as part of fully-integrated survey projects. Our Projects section has sample projects that illustrate the diverse applications of these survey techniques. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have a unique problem that doesn't seem to fit neatly into a particular survey technique. Let us help you develop the solution.
